On Sunday April 27th, our fellowship group came down to the house.  During the afternoon, the guys enjoyed some guy time while the ladies took care of the kids.

During this time the guys headed out to the back 40 and setup a firing range.  All together we had 7 guys, 4 guns, 200 clay pigeons, 2 stationary targets and a whole lot of testosterone. <insert Tim the Tool Man Taylor Noise Here>

Needless to say, we had a great and very SAFE time, however there was some fallout (at least for me), as seen in the photo below... this is an example of what happens when you shoot a 12-guage pump and a 20-guage skeet gun for about 2 hours???  But let me tell you it was worth it..

Oh, worry not, the ladies are having a "Ladies Day Out" this coming Saturday.  They're going to the new IKEA store in Cincinnati, OH.  (I just don't know how they're planning to shop all day and take care of the kids....LOL)

Below is a video of our youngest son enjoying some bubbles after dinner.

The below set of pictures and videos were taken at a birthday party that our kids were invited to.  The party was held at a horse farm in Franklin, Indiana.  There, the kids enjoyed walking the horses, brushing the horses and even had a chance to ride the horses around the arena.  Needless to say, the kids LOVED it!!...  Now all I hear is, Daddy... When are we going to get a horse?

My response... Can't you just ride a goat?  LOL

The photo below was taken at our youngest son's dedication to Christ at Indian Creek Christian Church on Sunday, April 20, 2008.

In case you have not heard by now, Jennifer and I received unfortunate news yesterday which was confirmed today by our midwife.  At Jennifer's request (due to  a gut feeling and some continual spotting), we were provided with an appointment for an ultrasound yesterday.  It was during this ultrasound that we were given information that things weren't measuring up to what it should be and that a heartbeat could not be found.  After a very difficult evening (although comforted by many close friends & family), it was confirmed this morning by our midwife that our pregnancy is an inevitable miscarriage.

The prayer that we would ask you to lift up is that the miscarriage comes and goes quickly and that Jennifer is as comfortable as possible during the whole process.  In addition just lift Jennifer up in prayer both physically and mentally as she deals with the emotional and hormonal side of the miscarriage.  As for the Kids and I, just pray that we too work through the mourning process in a positive manner.

As for the family as a whole, we know that God will use this situation for His glory and we give praise to God for that.

Through His Grace alone,

Keith, Jennifer & The Kids

PS.  At the end of this week I will be removing the pregnancy link from this site.  It is in our prayers that we will be able to add it back in the near future...

Isn't it funny the things we sometimes say when we're praying with our children?  Have you ever stepped back and really thought about the words you were praying, how about the ambiance of the room you were praying in?  Below is a very funny video explaining exactly what I mean.. Enjoy!
